Unearthing the Living Room

Now that the stairs and dining room have been sorted, its time to start work on the living room, aka the other half of the dining room. Currently this area is being used to store all of the furniture from both halves of the room. The removal of these items has, of course, been closely supervised. Under the couch was a veritable haven of crinkly balls, which are now scattered to the four corners of the house.

I think its possible the TV is now filled with ghosts. I'm hoping it'll still work after being vacuumed, dusted, and blown out. There will be some fingers crossed before its plugged in. In other news, this TV is huge, old, and has warped my TV stand, so it is probably not long for this world anyway.

The moving out took a few days and the help of friends. Once everything was rehomed to the clown room and other side of this room we started tearing out the carpet.

The supervisor is not so sure about the lack of carpeting. He now has nothing to stick his claws into. He has a tendency to slide around all over the new flooring because the poly is pretty slick still. When he hears food, its a lot like watching Bambi ice skate.

Zulu's efforts at supervision were rewarded with a double rainbow over the neighbour's house. What does it MEAN?!
