Its my last day in Bonaire; Im off to the wilds of New Jersey this afternoon for a bit before returning home.
I still have some pictures and stories to post, some of which will probably be posted when i get home (videos are hard to embed using the stupid ipad app), others i will post during my 13 hour layover.
i love the island, but I think I am leaving just in time. For one thing, it poured raining this morning. It seems somehow appropriate that my visit to the tropics should be bookended by rainstorms. The other reason: my mother found this at the supermarket and plans to serve it soon:
