My parents take me to the nicest places

We went over to the ruins of the Esmerelda today. It is, or would be, the nearest development to the south of us. It has a storied history, having been through many hands with promises of resurrection. It stopped being worked on in 1991. Now it is mostly just a heap of concrete baking in the sun. Which is sort of nice because you can walk all over it without worrying about falling through rotting wood. We went up to the roof.

My parents have made a habit of scavenging materials from the site, though apparently it has been well picked through now and there is nothing left. Locals use it as a party spot on the weekends (hence the explosions that kept us awake last saturday.) If you dont like pictures of old, abandoned places, you can probably sit this post out.
